So I said whats one more cat. 3 cats is a decent number. Now I think I need to take Jake too because Jake is so attached to Steve (plus.. Jake and my dog Bella are in love... and I just realized how funny that is right now (twilight reference)).

So.. as soon as I get an apartment/house my total stands at 4 cats, 1 dog, 20 fish, and hopefully a parakeet, maybe a cornsnake. O.O I'm gonna have a zoo!
What's wrong with a zoo in your house? That's my dream!! Lol

I think the idea loses its merit when you're the only one doing all the cleaning up after everyone. Lol! Even now when I'm down to two cats from four, I clean up disgusting wet hairballs from the walls a couple times a week. Lexi doesn't just vomit, she hurls those hairballs straight out at the walls. And they stick... :/ I love my cat but ugh!!!! :P

Jake and Bella! LOL! That's so cute. Jackie, your cats look like circus cats. They're all looking up in that last pic like.... yes?

LOL.. that's because I was holding a plastic grocery bag above my head and rustling it saying "here kitties".

I don't mind cleaning litter boxes and *knock on wood* we don't really have hair ball problems. My only problem (as you can see by my avi) is the cats jump on EVERYTHING. My mom doesn't mind them getting on the counter or the table so once I get a place I'm going to have to re-teach them that they are only allowed on certain areas (I don't mind the furniture and most of my kitties sleep with me).

When you get your place you can try on of those air can things that has a sensor on it. It goes SISSSSSSS! when they come near.

No, you probably won't have trouble. One of my cats pees on any carpet. We have all laminate now in our house but in a small 2 bedroom apartment with all carpet... you can imagine how it was. Same cat that projectile hairballs actually. *sigh* She's a mess. I put a welcome mat down just to SEE if I could use it. I really wanted it. She peed on it the first night. I can't have bathroom mats, kitchen rugs, I'd like to toss her out sometimes.

One of the kittens does that. Alice poops in one spot on the carpet, she won't go in a litter box. We tried putting a litter box in that spot but she goes right next to it, if we put newspaper or plastic down she goes next to it.

Try cleaning the spot with white vinegar and water. Of course, that NEVER worked with Lex. :/ Still, can't hurt to try.
