2 new bettas (WARNING: img heavy)

We just were given two new bettas today! It's a long story so I won't tell it, but they came as a surprise this morning together in this: http://www.petsmart.com/product/inde...2&ab=fish_fc1d (divided of course)

The water was pretty nasty and one of them (a CT) is a dull gray. The other seems to be in better shape and is bright red. I gave my sister the red one (she'll have my help to look after it) and took the CT because he needs more care. I'm not actually sure he'll make it .

Putting them in their cups for the tank cleaning was really eventful. The CT was first and he jumped out of the net and into the sink! Luckily he didn't go down the drain. The the red VT jumped out as well onto the counter, then onto the floor. I picked him up and put him in the cup.

So now, meet the two new bettas!

Both have AQ salt added to their water but there isn't really anything wrong with them, just poor water quality and stress. I substituted the plastic plants they came with for new silk ones so as not to risk any tears. Any name suggestions for the CT?

Yeah, I really hope they do okay. The CT still doesn't look too good but Forest will probably be fine. It's so funny how Forest has red eyes! Poor little CT is so tiny, I looked at him next to Phobos and he's like a quarter of his size...although my other CT that came from Petsmart was tiny as well and never got any bigger so maybe it's a Petsmart thing. Should I feed them tonight or just let them be because it might stress them?

That poor little CT looks so thin!! If you have some frozen bloodworms and he's eating, I'd get some in him. Nothing fattens up fish like good frozen food!!

I'm really not sure if he'll eat anything...I have freeze-dried bloodworms but not frozen ones-will that work?

Uhhgg...the poor little CT is doing nothing but laying on the bottom of the tank. There's nothing visibly wrong with him except he's really dull. He only comes up for air and otherwise doesn't move, he won't eat. Forest didn't eat either but at least he's active. I guess the poor little guy (maybe his name should be PLG lol) is just really stressed. I hope he gets over it.

Sorry for the tripple post but thought I'd post updates-

First off, I named the little CT Remington Finn, Remy for short. It's a big name for such a little fish and far from my usual names but I like it for him. All he's doing still is sitting on the bottom of the tank and he didn't eat last night.

I gave Forest a bloodworm and he spit it out-he didn't like it. I tried pellets and he spit those out too, as well as flakes. He just seems to be picky, and I feel bad about him not eating because he's really skinny too but if he won't eat then what am I supposed to do?
