Fin rot help?

Roughly 2 1/2 months ago I picked up a halfmoon betta from the local petsmart. He seemed fine when I got him, but after about a month his ventrals almost completely fell off out of the blue, and right after that he got fin rot. I decided to start with the clean water treatment as I usually would. It helped him regrow his ventrals a bit, but the fin rot still hasn't gone away, his fins are beginning to get worse, and I'm getting a little concerned. Any reccomendations for treatment?

Sorry for the lousy pics, he never stops moving.

Does your tank have a filter? Yes
Does your tank have an air stone or other type of aeration? Yes
Is your tank heated? No
What tank mates does your betta fish live with? None

What type of food do you feed your betta fish? For whatever reason he only accepts Tetra flakes.
How often do you feed your betta fish? Once daily

How often do you perform a water change? Once a week
What percentage of the water do you change when you perform a water change? 30-70%, depending on the circumstances.
What type of additives do you add to the water when you perform a water change? Just water conditioner.

Nitrite:
Nitrate:
pH:
Hardness:
Alkalinity:

Symptoms and Treatment
How has your betta fish's appearance changed? Torn and tattered fins.
How has your betta fish's behavior changed? He's still as active as ever, thankfully.
When did you start noticing the symptoms? About a month ago.
Have you started treating your fish? If so, how? Yes, with the frequent water changes.
Does your fish have any history of being ill? No
How old is your fish (approximately)? Probably somewhere around 1-2 years

I am afraid the pictures have not come through correctly, are you able to try again?

As to treatment I suggest you first go with AQ salt as jjchiddick recommended which will cleanse the areas of infection and speed healing. If after a few days in this you still see signs of the rot working its way up the fins then the next step is a mild antifungal (many in the US on this site recommend jungle brand).

Keep us posted as to his progress.
