Accessories...help me!!

Hello,

Okay so I have this amazing 15 gallon tank (I thought it was 10, so I'm really happy to have found out how much larger it is!) Anyway, it would really help me out if you could tell me what the best:

The actual tank measurements: 24" by 12" by 14"

1. Filtration and pump system is and where to find it ( We already have the base of a under gravel filter, is this good, can I get the other stuff easily?)

2. Lighting thing is and where to find it

3. Heater is and where to find it.Also, what wattage of heater would I need? I'm thinking 75 watts.

Please note that I live in the UK so I don't have wallmart, petco and other USA stores. 15 gallons = 70 litres

Thank you very much!

Thanks again!

Unfortunately I live in the US so I can only give you an idea of where to go.
If you have any larger scale fish store I would start there, if not you have internet at your hands right now. :)
75-100 watts sounds good for that size tank. If you have cooler winters I would go with a 100 watt. Everyone here recommends the Hyrdo Theo heater.
Sorry if I'm not the most helpful, but I'm not familiar with what al lyou guys have on the other side of the ocean. :)

Haha, thank you very much Drift! I'll google Hyrdo Theo heaters, thank you!

Also, what light is the best, I've come across some that say they are good for freshwater cause they are green and they encourage photosynthesis, are these lights good for bettas?
Thanks once again!

O.o Hydor Theo* Sometimes I think I am dyslexic.

I'm not to sure of lighting really. I think you only need to worry about it if you are going to grow plants. I do not recommend Incandescent lighting as it can heat up the tank, or has for me anyways and almost killed my CT. :( Any fluorescent light should be ok. If you are looking to have live plants I would ask someone else. XD

If you want to grow things get a light with 6500k (color temperature) as it imitates sunlight and thats what plants like.
