My New Betta

This is Pascal, my first Betta in ages. He's a male double tail, I've only had him a day so his coloration will probably change a little. But in terms of color and/or pattern what is he? Under fluorescent light he looks dark with blue/green/almost turquoise striations in his fines and his scales and eyes are highlighted by the same color. Under incandescent light the green becomes dominant so its looks more like green striations with bits of blue/turquoise. Even in a day his coloring has livened up but I still can't quite place him because there isn't a true solid color outside of the gray/blackish/silvery background color.

Also he flares at everything to the point that he is almost at wits end, the fluorescent light makes it worse but I'm hoping he will get used to it. So any tips on cutting down on his reflection would be great.

Thank you! :). Pascal is awesome, he's quite small (as double tails seem to be, comparatively) but he's full of attitude. And yes I got him because his coloration wasn't like any of the others, I was about to leave when I spotted him.

I will bc I am really anxious to figure out what his color/pattern is. He's a great little guy.

A few new pics of Pascal, a week after bringing him home. His coloring still confuses me bc it changes so much in or out of direct light. But it's only been 7 days, can't wait til a few weeks have passed.
