My new betta Ace has a badly split fin, I got him like this.
I put some aqua salt in his tank. Will it grow back together?

It should heal up nicely within a few days.. the same thing happened to my fishy and once i added the AS he was healed withing 1 or 2 days. Just make sure his water is clean so keep up with water changes.

I would still try but it will probably take longer to "grow back together".
If you got him like this, the wound is already healed.
The fishies I've succesfully healed in 2-3 days with AQ salt was because the wound was recent. I think that if it doesnt fuse back together quicklt, the tail just doesn't and it needs to regrow.
How that's not the case with your fishie!
At least he doens't have fin rot!!!!!!

Yeah, doesn't matter what they do right?
See the fish in my avatar? If I didn't love him he would be in BIG trouble.
He bit his caudal off! ARGH! The little devil had the nerve to do it while I was looking. I scolded him but he looked at me like: what are you going to do about it? huh???
Now he's all bloody and looking ragged. And he better not complain about the salt, 'cause now he has to suffer the consequenses.
Seriously, who said fish were relaxing??
They sure keep me on my toes!
