i used to have 2 female creamsicle mollies and 1 male black molly. One of my creamsicles had 12 little fry unexpectedly. It was quite an adventure catching them all and putting them in a breeder tank. Now, my other creamsicle molly is going to have fry soon, but I'm not sure when. We bought a second breeder tank and I researched mollies and how to care for the mother and the fry. I read that I shouldn't use breeder tanks.
I know I need to get the mom to a safer place to have her fry. We have a gigantic plecossomis, a large female swordtail, the pregnant molly, and the male black molly on one half of the tank, and on the other half we have 8 tiger barbs, 3 black skirt tetras, and 3 regular tetras. This is a large tank. I forget the gallon size but it's really large.
I need to know
1, Should I use the breeder tank?
2, How soon should I put the soon to be mom in either the breeder tank or a different tank.
