So, if you are reading this, you probably know the story of my platnum bettas from Thailand (they arrived DOA). Feeling miserable, I went to the Petco in Denhim Springs (IMO, best bettas around) to see what they had. They had some very nice looking "King" Bettas...much nicer then any I had seen at the other stores. So I picked one out and went to the register...it was a whooping $30

. Needless to say, I put it back. I went to another petco in New Orleans and picked up a nice pair of crowntails that I will breed (technically, my dad picked them up and gave them to me). So as a fish junkie, those king bettas were still in my head for a week...and you knew it was going to happen...I went back and got one. He is about 3 inches long, has a plakat halfmoon tail, and is literally about 3x the size of a normal betta. In the pictures below, you can see both it and the crowntail. And yes, I plan to breed it, but the problem is, my only source for females is Thailand
