What is the best way to repair broken decoration?

Hello! I recently dropped and broke one of my aquarium decorations. I was wondering it there's any safe way to fix it?

I was thinking of hot gluing it together, but I'm worried about what that will do to the water, as well as if hot glue even works efficiently underwater.

I was also thinking of using aquarium sealant. Its meant to be used it tanks, so I'm guessing it can be used on the decoration in tanks. I'm just wondering if, since its made to work with glass, if it will hold my ornament together.

I had the same problem! i asked at both petco and petsmart and both said NOT to use hot glue or superglue, as they will make your fish sick. aquarium silicon is safe for fish (NOT REGULAR SILICON SEALANT FROM THE HARDWARE STORE), but it might not work. i ended up buying a new one. oh, and if you do use the silicon, make sure to let is dry for at least 72 hours before putting the decoration in the tank!

Aquarium sealant should work as long as you use it sparingly and let it dry first.

Personally I'd throw it out and get another,
To much potential Left with the possibility of a sharp edge that could hurt my fish,
