Question 10 gallon tank in dorm room?

So I found out the limit for a dorm room next year is 10 gallons. So I was wondering what everyone would do with the 10 gallon: 1 betta and tankmates, or sorority, or divided for males? I have both a sorority and 8 males now, so I would probably take 3 males and divide it. But I was wondering if anyone had any other suggestions. Thanks!

I bought my Bacardi when i was back at res, unfortuantly i wasnt ALLOWED any pets but i snuck him in. I had him in a 3gal tank just by himself. I think it would be cool if you either took some of your boys, or got a whole new boy with some tank mates. I think maybe a sorority could be a litle hard to manage in college/uni, but if you think you could tackle a second one then go for it :D If i was ALLOWED a ten gal in res, i would prob get a bunch of new males and divide it or get one male and some ADF's/snails/whatever fish are good with bettas!

I'd have a little sorority of your females without division, it's nicer to see them swimming around with more space with each other. =]

Yeah I would like a more open tank, but I'm more partial to by boys :) haha so I think I'd definetly would take my favorites instead of getting new boys. The parents aren't very happy with having to take care of the other tanks anyway! :0
