Arrow vacation

I am going away on vacation next weekend for 2 1/2 weeks. I have someone coming over once during the week and once on the weekend to feed my betta. I am going to set the timer for the tank lights to be on those days and they will be off for the rest of the time. Of course, I am going to do a good tank cleaning the day before I leave.

Do you think my betta will be ok?

Does the person coming in clean the tank? If not, it probably isn't ok.

I's show them how to do a couple easy 50% changes, you could even have the water ready for them.

No, they do not clean the tank. I will clean it before I leave. I do 100% water changes and I do have a filter running as well

100% changes usually aren't the best - it kills good bacteria. I'd show them how to do 50% changes.

Let me explain my 100% w/c, I do not remove every drop of water. I remove the water down to the gravel level so the gravel is still in water, therefore, not killing the good bacteria. If you want to get technical, I do a 90% w/c
