Question Bettas and Bamboo

I was just wondering if my male betta would enjoy have a small straight piece of bamboo in his tank?
Thanks for the help in advance. :)

From what I've seen, lots of people have bamboo in their tanks. I personally use pothos. My betta seems to enjoy playing (and resting) in the leaves. Bamboo... is just a stick. lol

Ok, thanks. I think I'll put it in and see what he thinks of it. :)

Ive actually seen some really nice tanks in the "post your bettas home" thread in which bamboo is used. it makes it look kind of like a forest.

Sounds cool. My betta, Houdini, seems to be happy just circling around the plant over and over again. Hopefully he doesn't get dizzy, lol.

If you use bamboo in your betta's tank, you must not submerge it completely. Bamboo is not an aquatic plant and will eventually die if it is left under water, polluting your tank with all kinds of nasty decaying plant matter. In order to use bamboo in your tank, you must plant it in a way that all of the leaves are exposed to the air.

I am aware of this and all of the leaves of the bamboo are out of the water so now worries. Thank you though. :)
