Heater disaster averted

Checked on my other tank today just to see how the cory's are getting on and was shocked. The temp was up to 90F apparently the thermostat broke and the heater just kept on going. So I unplugged it turned the fan on shut the blinds and changed out 10% water. Got a brand new marine land adjustable heater looks like they are ok still.

Aww thats good, however I believe personally that corys are really quite hardy I had the electric go off for a few days last month and the temps dropped to beyond 60 but the corys still bustled on not once even appearing lethargic thankfully

I totally forgot about problems like this, Clarke my RT is right on my sill and as autumn in coming closer I guess I'm gonna have to move him since the radiators will be on all the time but where will I move him to lol

The Betta (Hattori II) is doing Great! haven't had any issues with him at all.
I got a new 20g long for Pete my gecko and he is quite happy with the new digs. Only problem is, now i have a 20g tall tank with nothing in it and no where to put it.:( I guess I'll have to start saving up for a filter, hood, heater, and decorations for that. I've added a couple tetras to the 5gallon with the corys. I'm debating on finding a way to transfer them into the twenty gal once I have all the new goodies for it.
Any ideas on how to do it (cycling time etc)
