Is this tank size ok?

As of now I have my fish in this size tank:

http://lllreptile.com/store/catalog/...ritter-keeper/

It has a heater in it and I do water changes often. Is that ok for him? he has a hide two plants and a figurine. My parents dont want a 10 gallon they think its too big and I wont be able to take care of the tank because of how heavy it will be. Will he be HAPPY and COMFORTABLE in a cage this size?

That tank is around 3Gallons, enough for him to be happy and you to take care of the cleaning...
