O_o woah! Bloodworms? I`ve heard about them on many sites but some said that it might develope diseases so I never really fed Blue-Chu any Dx Did anything bad ever happen to your Betta Fishies because of Bloodworms being included in their diet?

Rawriie: You always run a slight risk with live blood worms, but frozen are always good to substitute the occasional pellet meals, and freeze-dried make nice snacks after being soaked. So far, nothing bad has happened to my bettas, or harlequins, or ghost shrimp, from feeding them the occasional frozen bloodworm and I highly doubt anything will. In fact, they really love them.

Smile food time

I only give 3 of my bettas one pellet in the morning and one at night and one bloodworm on the weekend the other 3 i give like a tiny pinch of bloodworms ONLY morning and night....they really dont like pellets...........i think three is too much food for them,...their stomach's are the size of thier eyeballs...and that is really tiny...try to feed less in my opinion....

The majority of people here usually feed between 2-3 bloodworms twice a day...My fish is very active (and I mean VERYYY lol)and has never gotten bloated with what I give him. Perhaps it depends on the betta?
