Are you feeding them pellets? If so do you soak them before feeding?

You can try fasting them (not feeding) for a couple days to see if the bloat goes away.. they'll be okay, don't worry. Hopefully someone else will also offer their opinion here for you as well!

i was feeding them pellets only they would eat it then spit it back out, and some didnt seem to care for it, so they're on flakes now. and i tried not feeding them yesterday, and they stressed out really bad. One even continually hunts the bottom of the tank for extra food.

Bettas will ALWAYS act like they're hungry. Don't let them fool you. They have no sense of a full tummy. They'll completely con you into feeding them even when they'd be ill from one more bite. It's normal for them to hunt around for food. It's what they'd do if they were in the wild.

ok thanks everyone, one of them has shrunk down some today while i was at work, i think it was more from her egg sack then being overfed. I hope the other one shrinks down soon
