Oh no it wasn't that. I saw this awesome pair of HMPKs and decided I'd rather have them than HMs.

You should really research more information about betta genetics--VT is dominant over all other tail types except for CT, which is only partial dominant anyway. It would take many generations to get back to HM after throwing in a VT. Such a crossing would not be a good idea at all.

Yes I know. I've researched genetics. I'm an experimental breeder, always crossing fish to see what I'll get.
