should i choose this a fish fry food? .-.
From what I have seen, some fry will eat egg yolk, some won't. However, regardless of whether it is successful or not, the leftovers will foul the water quickly. You will need to keep up on water quality for the fry to survive. Make sure you know how to do this on a young fry tank, it isn't the same as adult fish tanks.

Some more experienced breeders will probably chime in with more specific suggestions, but that is what I know.

Feeding the fry

My first spawn was February of this year and I had microworms and aged java moss in the tank. From what I had read, the main reason to use a worm or parasite is to trigger the fry's eating with the movement that the worms make. The other thing that I have read is to make sure to change the foods around, too much of one seems to have negative affects so you want to feed different things if possible.

I also started adding a fry granule at about 2 weeks (just a little) to get them use to other non-live foods

im a bit new but ill tell you some reasons why.
If you dont want him to continue eating, remove the male, make sure the eggs are fertilized, thats what i did.
First parents usually eat eggs, thats normal. it happened to me alot of times before.
Dont worry too much though, just remove the male, make sure the eggs are fertilized then you should be able to get some frys outta it.
Too much frys might be troublesome...ithink...
Good Luck!
