9/11/01- The date is a terrible reminder of just how vulnerable the USA is. For those who need a review: This was a terrible incedent that happened on September 11, 2001. At around 8:30 AM 2 airliner jets, flown by terrorists, crashed into the World Trade Center. Another one crashed into the Pentagon, and another one crashed into a field in Pennsylvaina. This one was going to crash into the White House, but Civillians took over the plane and gave their lives for America.
Let's have a moment of silence for the Americans who were killed, injured and for all of the rescuers who gave their lives and limbs for others.

Yes. It was a terrible tragedy. I remember I was only in 5th (?) grade when it happened. We were at school so we didnt get to see it on the news but I remember hearing about it. We didnt really believe it till we got home :(

Dont mean to sound disrespectful but I don't know If I believe that or not... I'm not one for conspiracy theories but I would be more inclined to believe that Flight 93 was actually shot down by a U.S. fighter jet - "The lesser of two evils".

I think the history channel had a really good episode on about 9-11 and all the different theories. Some were far fetched, but a lot of them made more sense than you could imagine.

Either way, my heart goes out to all who were involved in these tragedies. :(

Likewise to what Drift wrote.

There was also wtc7 that happened to fall without being struck, plus the people that managed to escape the scene spoke about several explosions after the plane hit, apparently from levels other than where the plane hit, thought that was weird.

Theories have been floating around, that approx 1k bodies were never found or searched for, and there is a group of architects that are requesting that the investigation be re-opened, stating that the towers fell in a sort of 'controlled demolition' type of way.

Still, a sad day marked in history, I feel for those whose families have been lost, and the rescue workers that got sick from the building dust trying to save people. ]:

If you watch closely before the plane hits the building it explodes. I think there were bombs in the front.
