I would choose the turquoise--no matter what, you're going to get multicolors and a few surprises since you don't know their genetic history, but the turquoise has much better web reduction. In my opinion, it's always best to work with form first, and then work on color. Traditionally patterned CT males aren't hard to find--if you're considering housing a bunch of fry anyway, why not get another male that has better finnage and meets your color expectations?

Because my LPS only gets shipments in once a week, and only 1 shipment a month of CTs. I'm super picky about the way the fish acts, the way its built and the colors, so I rarely find a betta that I like. I can't order online as I have no usable credit card, paypal etc.
