I use baking soda and toothpaste, lol. I have hardwood tiles on my my bedroom floor and I've learned that toothpaste is a WONDERFUL floor cleaner. It'll leave floors sparkling clean (once you rinse it off really well!). I use one part toothpaste three parts water. Adding baking soda to vinegar or lemon juice is good for cleaning too, or just use baking soda and water. If you can get a saponine based product like Dr. Bronner's Magic soaps - usually used on the body, but it's also a lovely cleaning agent. No harmful chemicals either and comes in many scents :)

The bicarb thing works a treat, Iv used it many times and even told my mother about it when she moaned about cleaning her oven lol.

I'v actually just used warm water with a tiny bit of washing-up liquid but im looking around and really need to touch up some paint work, now thats going to be tricky lol.

Thanks :)

I just sweep the floor, do a bit of dusting, and a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser in the bathroom. I'm not too picky on cleanliness...:P

Don't spray anything directly into the tank. You'll be fine...

If you have like a spray dusting thing, spray it onto the rag and not onto the surface? I don't use cleaners in my room because I have hermit crabs in here as well, but I at least try to wipe everything down with a damp cloth.

I have a bird so many cleaning agents are out, but baking soda and lemon juice is awesome for almost everything.

I just dust with a rag and hot water, and vacuum. As for the air freshener I have one of those scented balls or wood in a bag will that harm my fish
