Amano shrimp

Do they make good tank mates? I hear mixed information, some saying to keep them from 60-70, others say 70-80 with 75 being ideal. I have seen some threads on other websites saying some people have kept them very successfully with their bettas :O

Just curious for the future... figured I might as well research now, right? Better then last minute!

Part of me is also curious about just keeping a shrimp tank hehe.. :)

I've been to that site before when I was looking up red cherry shrimp!

I'm curious, I hear amano shrimp get bigger than ghost/red cherry shrimp so I wondered how much better they would do with a betta. :O Just curious! It doesn't seem that much more expensive, I wouldn't mind trying it out with a calmer betta someday!

I have a friend that keeps several amanos with apistogramma cichlids, if they can survive those, I'm sure they can survive a betta. They are quite a bit bigger than dwarf shrimp like cherries, after all.

Sweet!! Good to know! I hear they are some of the best algea eating/preventing shrimp! Thought it might be nice to go with them at least! :) been watching videos, shrimp are pretty fun to watch!
