Yes, Prime slowly releases the ammonia back into the tank, slow enough for the bacteria in a cycled tank to oxidize it -- or for the plants ina planted tank to absorb it.

If you've been running a filter all this time, and if you have not scrubbed everythign or replaced your filter media in a few months, I think your tank should be cycled.

Follow VivianKJean's advice about testing your water.

Yep. No ammonia and a small amount of nitrate. So my tank is cycled? If so, can it go 11 days without a water change?

Easily. Just feed the fish lightly for a day or two before you leave. And, of course a large (50%) wc just before you go.

Even though my tank's relatively small, right? Haha sorry for nagging but I guess better safe than sorry .
