How high ppms could be?

At what levels is it safe for a betta to be in and too high for a betta to be in for pH, Ammonia, Nitrite, and Nitrate?

pH- 6-8

Ammonia:
If your pH is below 7: around 1ppm shouldn't be harmful (though 0 is obviously better)
If your pH is above 7: 0ppm

Nitrite: 0ppm

Nitrate: up to 40ppm. Below 20ppm is best however. The lower the better.

Fish CAN survive in worse conditions (people have had betta cups at over 10ppm of ammonia) but it is basically cruelty to the animal to have to live at these levels. Ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate all affect the ability of the blood to carry oxygen to the animal, which is why high levels will cause suffocation and gill damage.
