I'm Weak. New Dalmation VT & Roundtail (?)

2 new bettas...And a 10G, and an overpriced cheesy decoration, and too many live plants...

*sigh*

Oh well, I had a rough week, I deserved it. LoL

So today...

* I moved Danny Boy (original betta), to the Danio's former 10G.
Buffering it's strong current w/ an aquarium sponge worked nicely.
He swam right into the transport cup, and promptly investigated his
"mansion", knocked some snails off the glass for good measure (but never bites them),
flared like a madman at his doppelganger for 20 minutes, then begged for pellets (Ya, he got some for being so cool). The 2 New Bettas were eating pellets & freeze dried shrimp immediately in their 1/2 gallon temp tanks. (While I set up their final homes.)

New Betta #1 - Round tail (I think?), with those DALMATION spots on his TOP FIN I love
so much! He was hidden in the back, but we locked eyes, he blew a bubble, and it was ON. LoL
He's got black eyes, black jaw, and is silver, red, purple-ish.
I decided to put him in the New 10G because he was way more active and outgoing than New Betta #2.
He swam right into the net too.
His 10G kit light bulbs cast a YELLOW tint, which doesn't do him justice, and also get super HOT.
I'm going to switch the stock lights for something less intense.
He thinks my red digi cam is scary, and was very hard to photograph.

New Betta #2 - Peachy/apricot body & fins w/ red speckles. Blue eyes.
Hasn't flared at all...Very chilled out. Swam and swam when moved to the 3G, and likes
resting on plants.

Beautiful bettas!! The first is a delta tail not a roundtail and a DRAGON at that. If you don't know I'm talking about the coloring of his scales. See how they're thick like dragon scales? You can see others in the tail/ color type thread in betta care.

Jayy - ooooh....Is that what Dragon type means?? I always thought it meant those long thingies in
front (like my New Betta #1's) were extra lush. Kewl!!

Really beautiful coloring on the silver/red one. Wow! And the peachy one looks just like my Bravo. I can't get such a good pic of mine, though!
