Sorry its with my phone camera. Not quite sure yet what "type" of Betta they are (new to the forums) I have had him 4 months and her just over 2 weeks

Idk, I'd have to see a flaring picture to tell the gender... The dorsal looks a little small to be a male but I can't tell for sure.

Male: Blue and orange veiltail

Female: fighter/regular plakat.

I hope they're not together. Males and female will rip each other to shreds when housed together.

No they are not in the same tank He is in a 3.5 gal tank and she has a 2.5 they are just one the same cabinet. They are beside each other but I have a pile of books in between atm

I cant get her to flare I hope its a female lol, other wise its a guy with a bit of a fruity name. I cant get her to flare at anything, tried a mirror she just stared at it even a lego guy she refused to flare to
