Question!!!Need answers soon please!

I have a betta named Marlin. i was making some water to change out his water and wanted to know if you HAD to wait a full 24 hrs.I need answers soon. THANXX :))

if you use water conditioner, then no. If you don't, you need to go buy some (prime is a good one), because letting water sit only evaporates some of the bad stuff in the water.

Hmm... well, for my Betta, Jayne, I just put in a betta bowl buddy(s) into the new water and done :) I didn't wait 24 hours... but that's just me... I'd wait 'til some one else posts.. I am vary new to fish keeping. I've only had Jayne for less then 4 weeks, but I hope this helps!
