So my guppies died. Again. Honestly, I don't think guppies and I were meant to be. So, I have two choices for my 10 gallon A) get 6 pygmy cories (I'd have to find them first) or B) add a female betta fish.

The pros and cons of each A) pro: they're adorable con: they aren't as colorful as I could hope for. B) pro: she'll be colorful con: I'd have to buy a lid for the tank

My problem is that I'm broke ;_;. I have money in my back account, but I hate taking from that seeing as I'm saving up for Dragon Con next year and college. So, I'll have to wait until I have money to decide, but in the mean time, help me decide!

You can get both? Bettas and cories are fairly compatible.

True... but then again, I could do 4 girls in the tank with my five harlequin rasboras!

No, you wont die.

Anyways, im not sure about the harlequin rasboras. They are very timid and its possible that the girls will bully them to death - But the girls may just pay attention to one another. Bottom dwellers are usually best as they are out of the way. But im not very knowledgeable about sororities. TBH I would just get the cories or one female/male betta - You wont have to worry about aggression issues and backup plans.
