How do I do a dip bath? I've just been adding aquarium salt to the water.

Treatment is safer than a dip IME-
aquarium salt 1tsp/gal up to 3tsp/gal- along with daily water changes is the safest method
I like to pre-mix the salt in a 1g jug to make water changes and dosage easier-I only use salt for 10 days max and then just fresh water for 5 days and repeat as needed.
The fish stays in this salt water 24/7 for 10days along with the daily 100% water changes
