Apple snails?

I acually just got 4 apple snails for my divided ten gallon tank (2 on each side, 2 blues, 2 blacks) anyway, they're a lot of fun to watch. I put in two cucumbers tied to fish line (to keep them in relative place) My one betta decided he needed to peck at it for some reason, so that's fun watching him explore the floating green thingy in his tank :P
