Roy's new bachelor pad!

SO, I awoke this morning to find that Roy had taken a giant chunk out of his tail, and torn another part of it.
Seeing as he's been acting a little strange of late, and that I noticed some weird white film forming around the silicone parts of the tank, I decided its time for his 3.5 gallon to retire.

LUCKILY I had just bought a 5.5 gallon, if you saw my post on betta chat saying I had nowhere to put it.
After some shuffling around, I found an old dresser and enough double adapters XD

As you can see, he carnage'd all over his tail! If you compare him to my icon, he's changed a lot in colour and such. His ventrals are still clamped, so is the bottom of his anal fin, argh D:

But there we go! His tank is bare and boring for now, I must buy some new plants.

He's been flaring at everything since, and comes up to the glass and opens his mouth wide as if to say THIS PAD IS AWESOME, THANKS MUM

Also his pretty love heart stocking covering the filer intake XD He keeps attacking the hearts. HEARTS ARE TOO GIRLY FOR THIS MAN.

Thanks all~ C: The hole in his tail is a little bigger today, but I thought that would happen with all the flaring he's been doing. The rest of his tail looks as if its beginning to heal, which is good :3

Roy looks so much like my Mr. Fish (his fins are still growing back from pet shop carnage)! Even has the white on his face. You're way better at taking pictures than I am, though. :)
