Hey folks just to let you know that this morning I performed a 50% water change, the temp is up to 26/27 deg C (76-78) and Hikaru has become a lot more active - he is swimming around the tank like a nutter!

I'm going to the specialist aquarium shop today to see about a test kit (if not will get one off of ebay as they're much cheaper!) and to get some freeze dried blood worms!

Just wanted to say thanks for all your help and will keep updated :)
