My bettas :)

Well just took some pics of Alexander and Riley who are hanging around their new live plants non-stop :) Just thought I would post some pics of them! :] I got the live plant moneywort for them since I did some research and found out they are good beginner plants. Any other good beginner live plants? Haha anyways here are my boys :]

Nice!! I've never heard of moneywort before...but anubias, wisteria, and java fern are also good beginner plants.

Thanks! :) I've heard something about Java Fern where it's not suppose to be planted and instead it's suppose to be tied to something such as a log or decoration? Is that True?

Yeah that's where I got mine D: It's been doing pretty good so far...lol I sure hope it doesn't cause my two bettas love it lol :P

Yep, if the rhizome is buried in the substrate, it will eventually rot and the plant will die. All you have to do to attach it to driftwood etc. is simply just use fishing line. In my goldfish tank I just wedged most of it between rocks and where the wood branches off and it stays there pretty good even with the occasional 'goldfish attack'.

Nice bettas by the way . They really do love live plants. Mine always spend half their time investigating and hiding in amongst the anubias.
