What to do with this 10 gal!

I have a spare 10 gal high that is in need of some attention but I have just got 20 pounds so im thinking redoing it up . I have a filter already and a bit of sand thats in the tank . Also I could buy some silk plants with my money. But what could i have in this tank?? Im not sure I was thinking of putting one of my males in but maybe a soriorty? What do you think?

You could do a male and a school of pygmy cories. You could potentially do a sorority of 4 females, but keep in mind that sororities are risky and there is always the chance that multiple girls will not adapt well to the situation and you will have to house them alone permanently. If you don't have the resources to house multiple females should your sorority fail, you should just go for one male, one female, or divide the tank into sections for multiple bettas.

Live plants provide more benefit than silk plants, but if your thumb is brown (so to speak) silk plants will do :P you just won't have the helpful conditioning you get from live plants, or as natural a look.

For the sorority, make sure you have a divider and two 2.5 gallon tanks (or larger) in case some don't like the sorority life.

You could also go for a different tropical fish species all together.
