Made out like a bandit ! :-)

Yippeeeee.....My roommate gave me my birthday stuff early! He really went above and beyond.

He found a 14G Hex + stand, and a 10G w/ hood.
They are used, but in good shape...the previous owner was moving & he also threw in some natural stones, faux coral bubbling rock, airstones, fish meds, filters, filter media, food, etc.

I'm going to bleach them out (that's right isn't it?) & can't wait to decorate!!!

But first, we're using the 14G hex as a candy dish though for Halloween.

So you know what this means guys......

It's funny, he's really taken to Danny Boy & Dexter, he likes feeding and talking to them. Maybe I'll be the one getting HIM tanks for his bday!

The big bubble rock though, not sure how strong the bubbles it gives off...It might end up
in the danio tank.

But a betta can have a small airstone right? Like in one of the 10G's? Those "earplug" looking ones?

Congratz :)

A betta is fine with an airstone, they don't need one, but as long as the flow and the bubbles aren't too strong to bother them, it's fine.
