Heating 2.5 Gal

Alright, so I had a hydor mini heater in my 2.5 gal tank, but it looks like it just up and died on me. =( I will have to run over to petco right when they open in the morning and raid their shelf for a new heater. However, I had recently thinking about getting a different heater anyway because I was not impressed with the mini heater, but am at a loss of what to get. Does anyone have any suggestions of a particular brand/wattage to get? Heaters are not my lucky point, so help would be appreciated! I'll slide betta's tank closer to the gecko cage so he will stay a bit warmer overnight. =)

I use a 25 watt Stealth Pro by Marineland in my 2.5-3gallon Critter Keeper. I really like it, keeps the water right where I set it.

I had to go to a Local Aquarium Shop for it though. I couldn't find that wattage at my Petco or Petsmart, it could be that they ran out or those stores in my area don't carry them.

Really?? I have 3 mini hydors & they keep my 3-5 gallon hospital tanks warm enough...Sorry you got a bum one.
