Wow, what a beautiful fish! Maybe you should name him Houdini since he likes to change colors for the camera ;)

I can't believe you can't think of a name, you always have ideas!
Yeah, so many changes. This pic matches the video. Hmm...

Midori is a Japanese word for green. "It's derived from the classical Japanese descriptive verb midoru meaning, 'to flourish'." Nothing to do with his color (hehe).
Or maybe Tamashii, which means soul or spirit.
I like Houdini too.
I keep thinking of candycanes when I see this pic.

He's very cute!!! The flash generally just shows all the iridescence in a fish and not the true colors. True shining a desk light behind your camera and putting it on the Macro or flower setting. That is how I get good pics.

Ahhh thank you!
I am going to see if my mom or someone else in our house has a desk light, and I will try that!

Your fishy is so cute! He's like my ZIM. Z's is naturally baby blue, pink, and white, but when I take pictures of him with the flash, he lights up bright green and red like your guy. I've figured out how to take pics without flash though to show their true colors. I turn off all the lights in my room except my tank light and use the macro, or flower setting.
