I'm pretty certain, Prime detoxifies any ammonia in the water and turns it into ammonium. So you'll still have a reading for ammonia, but it will be in a form that is harmless to your fish but can be processed by the biological filter

Also, why does the largest bottle of Seachem say it removes .8 ppm of ammonia while the smaller bottle removes 1 ppm. I am worried that if i buy the larger bottle that it wont remove all the ammonia.
