Hey guys so got a VT male yesterday and half his tale is missing theyre is signs that its growing back but was wondering what would be the best combination of meds be for this i have aquarium salt, stresscoat and anti fungal in his tank atm.
awww, poor guy! I would get rid of the anti fungal, he doesn't appear to have ich or velvet. keep going with the salt/stress-coat and do full water changes daily. use 1 teaspoon of aquarium salt per gallon. to make salt dosage and water changing easier, you may want to move him to small container like a one gallon bowl. the most important thing is to not use the salt for more than 10 days at one time, 6-7 days is recommended. after about a week of salt treatment, wait another 10 days and repeat treatment as necessary.

Poor guy - he will be VERY pretty once his tail grows back in!
What does the anti-fungal have to do with ich or velvet? Ich & velvet are parasites and, obviously, the anti-fungal is to treat fungus infections.
