Sorority Day 2....Advice please....

So all 6 girls are alive and not fighting anymore...
BUT one is still glass surfing and stress striped...Man I feel so bad now....I think I'm going to
get a few more tanks & just give them all their own space...How long should I wait before
the last one settles down? Its a big change from a tiny cup to a 16G with other girls I'm sure,
poor lil lady....I can afford the tanks thankfully, but should I throw in the towel on this???

If they are not tearing each other apart I would give it more time, also make sure you have lots of plants in the tank either real or fake-in the back and the side use tall plants that go all the way to the top-this will provide better cover and a way for the less dominate to get to the top to breath without being seen, you have to break up the line of site within the tank is several places.

Can you post a pic of your tank?

OFL - OMG thats a good point..the line of site to the top...I'll get a pic up soon.
I used real and fake soft plants, and it has 6 "cichlid stones".... Just went in again now & they
all came to the front to look at me...I dropped some pellets in, saw 4 going for them....
The fiesty CT looks at me the most intense, lol She's a cutie..
I hope this does work...My issue is SPACE...Thank god I have a roomie who likes fish too. lol

I'd move the ornament thing, and put a bunch of tall plants there instead. :)

Yeah good idea I will do that...The head decoration is hollow on the back, so can that stay because it serves as another hiding place?

Guys I don't think I can take the drama of this lol ... The blue VT is still stress striped & pacing, even though nobody is chasing her as far as I can tell...the tank is cycled & I even double tested it to be sure...The heater is a 50W Aqueon adjustable & steady at 80. How long should I wait to see if she chills out?

Just give it time, unless someone is bullying her, I'd leave her in for a few days and just wait. I haven't dealt with a sorority personally, but when I got my new CT Polaris, he was stressed out for days until finally yesterday he began to adjust. I'd give her a few days.

Nice tank by the way! It looks great! :D

Thank you! I love the gravel, it's CaribSea & claimed to have bacteria in it to cycle faster...I was skeptical but it actually worked! And it comes in lots of colors.
The downside with the stand is...the Tetra tank top barely clears the side rails, I have to jimmy it up or else it slams shut.

I'll give her some more time to chill :) Thanks all for advice!
