New Betta

I got another boy. But I don't know if somethings wrong. He is pretty timid, and he hangs out in one corner, and doesn't move to often. He seems healthy. Also he doesn't eat. But I figured he's probally just a bit stressed, but now I am not so sure. I got him Wednesday night. He is in a 1 gallon at the moment. In a few weeks he will be moved to a divided 10g. The water temp is about 75. I have never had a fish act like this before. Maybe its normal, but with my others they swim around, and check things out. He didn't do that to much. And I had no problem getting them to eat. Any help would be nice.

thats odd, i know almost all of my fish were very timid at first but only for a day or two. the water temp is kinda low though. is there anything in the bowl with him? he might just be bored.

He has rocks and a plant. All my tanks are that temp. None of my other fish mind it. Thats all the tetra heater seems to go up to.

Some bettas are just more skittish than others. It's normal for them to not eat for a while after you've introduced them to a new place.

Okay. Thanks I feel less worried. Hopefully he'll be okay soon.
