Snow? What is snow?

Not from your fellow, betta-loving friend in Texas (it is 97*F here)!

We don't usually get snow for another couple of months.

Our first snow was on the night of the last non-playoff football game on November 5th. There were some flurries during the day but when it came time for the game there was a downpour. I'm in the marching band's color guard and I was SOOO cold. I couldn't see where I was going and there was an inch of snow caked on the snare drums. It was terrible. That was the only snow we've had so far.

We got some snow around Halloween which stayed for a day or two and then melted. There was also a veeerrry small amount on the fround a few days ago.

No snow today, but EVERYTHING was covered in ice this morning! Went out early in the morning when it was still dark, and the ground was dark and wet. I figured it was just rain and dashed down the steps on the porch 'cause I was running late for the bus. Ended up slipping and falling down the stairs. I definitely did not wear the right boots today.

Oh yeah it melted away in the next few days. Not a lot of accumulation.

I hate ice! I would rather have snow on the ground. Driving in ice scares me, especially when it snows over the ice.

I swear last Thursday it smelled like and felt like snow. I thought I saw it flurry very briefly, but I may have been seeing things.
I enjoy the snow and it doesn't bother me too much. I do not like ice and freezing rain. Snow doesn't usually show up until late december to january.
