So I used to have my filter split between two sections of my 10 gallon tank and an air pump in the third section for ariation. Ended up taking the air pump out b/c one of my bettas didn't like it too much. Sometimes the filter on my baffle falls creating less of a flow in the second and third dividers so I can see when my bettas make bubble nests but there's a cloudy residue that develops on the top of the water. I set the baffle back up correctly and now the cloudiness is gone in the 2nd divider but it destroyed his nest. Also I can never see if the fish in the first divider is making a nest. What's a good balance here?
