New Roof :p

So it was raining hard last night and I came home and my grandma discovered two small leaks in the roof...then we go in my bedroom and one whole wall in there is dripping all the way down to the carpet, ruining my Green Day posters. So we're having someone come out today and give us an estimate on a new roof. This upsets me because it's going to be really expensive and we were doing so good and my grandma was paying off her credit card debt and now she's going to have to take out a loan to pay for this roof.

Do you have any talents you can sell?

Can you draw? Do any crafts? Sing? Stand-up? Performing? Tutoring? Dog sitting? Baby sitting?

Those are all ways to make pretty good money when you're in a pinch. =]

I'm SO sorry. These things always seem to come up when we're finally getting somewhere. Water is the devil sometimes. It gets everywhere. :( I hope you get good quotes!

Thanks guys! We're actually almost done Christmas shopping so that won't be too bad but there goes any chance of me getting my license anytime soon :p

And people around here don't really buy art or need petsitting :p I live in a very small town.

Oh, wow, I'm sorry about your roof! We had to have a new roof 2 years ago when Hurricane Ike came through but insurance paid for it, thank goodness.

Too bad ours just sucks due to old age. It's alright though...my grandmas mom is going to give her the money upfront and then my grandmas going to take the money out of her retirement. It's about all we can do.
