Now since Red is in the container I don't have to clean the substrate in the tank right? Just daily water changes in the container and 50-75% water changes on the tank?

He's floating in a bowl in the tank, right? If he is, just clean the bowl out, and don't worry so much about the gravel.

Yeah he's floating in a container in the tank, it's taped to the side of the tank. Thanks for responding!

No problem! I would still clean the gravel out well just before I added my fish back to the tank, I would be paranoid that the ick would still be in it! XD
