Flexibacter???

My super red HMPK male hasn't been looking so good. Today I saw what I thought was Ick but now it's white wispy almost fungus looking material on his skin and tail. Now it seems to be falling off/shedding. I moved him to a 5 gallon hospital tank...I'm treating with Maracyn-Oxy (fungal and bacterial med), Ampicillin, and AQ salt.

Is there anything else I can do? I'm really worried...he's the best fish I own and he's only 4 months old.

If you think it is flex-I would get the water temp down to 76F and increase the salt to at least 3tsp/gal and add an airstone...you have to create an environment that the bacteria doesn't like....good luck......

Doubt it was flex, though. Wont that stuff kill your fish within afew hours to 3 days?

Hope your betta gets better!
