Oh, this beautiful snake!

I must say, I have fallen in love with a beautiful girl brazilian rainbow boa.

I still really want to buy one in person as opposed to online but.. Well, this girl is so gorgeous, if there are no breeders in Texas..and she's still available...

I just wish I wouldn't have to pay the extra shipping! Being a rainbow boa, (and a beautiful one from a quality breeder) she's understandably expensive.. So it would be nice to not have to pay 30-50 dollars extra!


As you betta lovers know, there is no real way to capture the true colors of our animals in a single picture, so this breeder takes pictures both with and without flash! She is also iridescent(shiny, rainbow colors--like gasoline on water), but that is another thing hard to capture on camera!

I doubt I'll end up getting her..though it is very tempting, I love how bright her spots on the top are!

But we'll see, christmas is coming up.. My family gave my boyfriend some money to spend for his birthday, and I should be getting some for christmas... If this girl isn't sold by then.. It will be much more difficult to not get her!

We already have most of the supplies!

55 gallon tank
eco earth
heat pad
light fixture
hides
cage decor(driftwood, fake plants)
water bowl
spray bottle (for humidity)

and not to mention other supplies already for our ball python. If she were to come with nasty mite/tics we'd be prepared!

Basically all we need right now--
LID for the 55 gallon(with locks)
temperature/humidity reader
any other cage decor...




But anyway, the search continues.. But.. this is a lovely girl, and if I can't find anyone else. Well, I know I'll at least buy from these breeders, they have some of the best, healthiest snakes I've ever seen! All of their adults and babies look great.

Her colors are so bright and warm! She almost looks like she would be cuddly :)

Yes! It is a brazilian rainbow boa.. This one is younger, so it is shaped a little different.. That image on craigslist actually was from google(I hope they mentioned that in the ad!) but it shows their iridescence nicely!
