Well, here they are: pics of Ms. Zip. I didn't leave out any good ones of the others in my sorority, otherwise the girls would feel snubbed. You have NO IDEA how many I had to take to get some good pics... lol Pic spam ahoy!

Nice! I love watching the girls interact in sororities. I don't know what I would do without mine! What size tank is it?

Let me know how this set up works out. I want a sorority so bad, but every store I went to, while dreamily looking at the girls, I was told by employees it was "a really bad idea", "females are meaner than the males", "it's just not done", "you might be more interested in stocking platys" ...etc. Needless to say, I left the store(s) girless. Thought I'd get some more input here. What is your set up?

Mine is a ten gallon with plenty of hiding spots. You need at least 4, but 5+ is better. Some females are aggressive, and can't live in the sorority, but most settle down after 2-3 days or so. I think 6-7 is MAX for a ten gallon.

Kholder: you'll need a tank size of 10 gallon minimum, cycling it is a good idea. lots of hiding spots, stuff your tank full of plants, fake plants, decor, anything to break up the line of sight. Minimum of 4 girls, max of 7 or 8 in a 10 gallon. Introduce the most submissive first, and slowly work your way from most submissive to most agressive.

I've got a 10 gal. ready to go. Now I'm wishing I wouldn't have chickened out. My plan was to purchase 4, thinking that was probably the max for a 10 gal. but will do 5 or 6 since that seems to be a more desirable number. It will probably be another month before I get to the city to do this now..darn it!
