well im kinda confused right now how to treat my wounded betta the right way.

i bought bettafix and the direction says 9 drop per pint, repeat dose daily for up to 7 days, and then make a water change.

so... i add dose daily and water change once a week??

but from what i read on this forum people sugesting change your water daily.

so im confuses guys..

Well, many people will recommend you don't use Bettafix in the first place. I've personally never seen a benefit to using it. Daily water changes will do more than enough for a wounded betta.

Aquarium salt can help prevent infection but there is no magical cure that regrows Betta tails. Just time and clean water. A high protien diet should also help a bit.

Different Betta will also regrow at different rates. My veil tail bit a good portion of his tail off when I bought him, that was about a month ago and he is still regrowing his tail.

I agree, your fish needs only clean water, stable warm temperatures, and a high protein diet to start rebuilding fin tissue. Some aquarium salt for a couple of days would be a good idea since it will help fight infection and increase circulation to the damaged tissue. You might want to lower the water level so that your VT can't jump the divider in order to prevent this from happening again.
