Easy Plants?

So I'm getting some marimo balls soon and I was wondering if there are any other live plants I can throw in the tank and not do anything too special for. I'd only want three plants to put in like the background of each section of my divided 10 gallon and if you have estimated prices that'd be great too.

At my local PetsMart they sell Java Ferns for $6.99 (Canadian). Marimo are $8.99, but I got mine free, the cashier didn't realize there were 2 different plants and only charged me for the fern. They didn't carry Anubias or Anacharis so I didn't get any of those but they are good too.

Java fern is probably one of the more prolific plants that I've had. Wisteria is easy as it gets but beware you'll spend more time trimming it than you do on water changes but I've only grown it in a Walstad tank. Anubias is great, as well. I would go with the marimo ball and some Java fern tied to a rock and see how things go. Just bear in mind that java fern grows slow but steadily.

Well I acclimated mine first the same way I would a fish but basically yes. As long as they have light and water they are fine. A little gravel for them to anchor to wouldn't hurt either.

I dont acclimate my plants lol. I just throw them in there and they do fine. IF you get any plants from the big plant tank make sure to dip then in a bleach solution to kill off potential snails and other critters. My friend had one of his tanks infested with little worm things when he added a plant from his petco. I know you can also buy java ferns in petco in the little tubes. they are labeled as tropica fern.
